Our Programs

The Navprakashan Foundation strongly believes that education alone has the ability to pull the entire human race out of ignorance and darkness. The world needs peace more than ever before, and education broadens one’s horizons, making people more accepting of each other. That eventually leads to peace.

Our first program was launched in mid- 2020 by providing scholarships to needy students at the Indian Institute of Technology (Kanpur). The scholarship was a grant of Rs. 50,000 each to 12 students given by the Foundation in the honour of Vineet’s father Mr. Ram Nagrani. This was followed by the second tranche under which grant of Rs. 75000 each was given to 10 students. This was a great way to start the foundation work and in Vineet’s own words “Its my privileage and honour to give back to my alma mater that gave me a great start in life”.

The Ram Nagrani Scholarship at IIT- Kanpur

Given the success of scholarship program, the Foundation decided to continue the Ram Nagrani Scholarship program in 2021. The Foundation decided to increase the grant to Rs. 75,000 each and decided to give it to 10 students. After a similar selection process, 16 candidates were shortlisted for interview and 10 were finally selected for the scholarship.

* These three individuals received the scholarship last financial year also in 2020.

The Foundation received a 105 eligible applications (one of the criteria used for selection was that the annual gross income for the applicant’s family should not exceed Rs. 500,000/- in the previous financial year). 20 students were shortlisted for interviews and 12 were finally selected for the scholarship.
