About the Scholarship

The Foundation has launched a Scholarship Programme in the memory of Vineet’s father Shri Ram Nagrani, the founding director of the National Security Guards (NSG).
Shri Ram Nagrani, a 1951 Andhra cadre IPS officer, retired as Director-General (Security) in the Cabinet Secretariat with the full rank of Security to the Government of India in 1986.
He had a distinguished career in IPS, having worked in organisations such as ITBP, CRPF and R&AW. He was a recipient of the Indian Police Medal.

I have heard my father talking about the importance of education in reforming the society. Through my own experiences, I have witnessed education and right mentoring changing lives for the better. Through Navprakashan Foundation, we aim to make a difference and contribute towards nation building.”
