About Us
Navprakashan Foundation is a non-governmental organisation (NGO) founded by Vineet Nagrani and wife Saleena Nagrani. Vineet has had a distinguished career in the financial services industry across the globe and together with his wife Saleena, has a deep urge to help the underprivileged sections of the society.
Education for all is a subject very close to Vineet and Saleena’s hearts, and through Navprakashan Foundation, they want to ensure that education reaches as many underprivileged children as possible to create a stronger India. Hence, the foundation offers financial assistance in the form of the Shri Ram Nagrani Scholarship to help the needy students.
In 2020, the Foundation started by providing scholarships to students from the Indian Institute of technology (Kanpur), Vineet’s alma mater.

Brief Bios
Mr. Ram Nagrani
Mr. Ram Nagrani joined the Indian Police Service (IPS) in 1951 from the Andhra Pradesh Cadre. In 1986, he retired as Director-General (Security) in the Cabinet Secretariat with the full rank of Security to the Government of India. He had a distinguished career in IPS having worked in several organisations like ITBP, CRPF and R&AW. He was also the founding director of National Security Guards (NSG) and a recipient of the Indian Police Medal..
Mr. Vineet Nagrani
Mr. Vineet Nagrani completed his Bachelor’s degree from IIT-Kanpur in 1981 and after his graduation he worked for Toyo Engineering Corporation (TEC) in Japan from 1981-1985. In 1987, he completed his Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from the University of California – Berkeley and over the next 30 years (1987-2017) he worked as an investment banker with The First Boston Corporation, Morgan Stanley and Credit Suisse across New York, Tokyo, Hong Kong, Singapore and Mumbai.
Mrs. Saleena Nagrani
Mrs. Saleena Nagrani completed her Bachelor’s degree in Architecture (B. Arch.) from the J.J. School of Architecture in Mumbai in 1989. She worked as an Architect for a few years in Mumbai and Hong Kong and has since devoted her life to her family and children.
